Hobbs Plumbing Company was founded in 1920 by the late Wilton Howard Hobbs. The company became incorporated in 1945 under the name of W. H. Hobbs, Inc. W. H. Hobbs, Inc. has its office and warehouse on Central Avenue in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina.

The company maintains both unlimited NC State Plumbing and H-3 Heating licenses, although it primarily specializes in the Plumbing field. The business is now owned and operated by Ernest Tucker who has been associated with W. H. Hobbs, Inc. since 1977.

	PHCC has been advocate for plumbing, heating and cooling contractors since 1883. As the oldest trade organization in the construction industry, approximately 4,000 members nationwide put their faith in the association's efforts to lobby local, state and federal government, provide forums for networking and educational programs, and to deliver the highest quality of products and services.
	As the voice of the remodeling industry, NARI has an inclusive, encompassing purpose: to establish and maintain a firm commitment to developing and sustaining programs that expand and unite the remodeling industry; to ensure the industry's growth and security; to encourage ethical conduct, sound business practices and professionalism in the remodeling industry; and to present NARI as the recognized authority in the remodeling industry.
